This month’s advocate spotlight is focused on a pair of Co-CASA’s, Sara Sullivan, and Christian Cuevas. Sara and Christian have been advocates since June 2022. In the time since then, they have advocated for a sibling set of SEVEN!

Their children’s needs are anywhere from medical, to mental health, educational advocacy, and family visitation. When they were asked to add two more children to their caseload they didn’t hesitate to jump right in and say yes!

Sara and Christian ensure that their court reports are detailed, and each child is seen in their own light, while also attending the court hearings to ensure the judge gets to hear directly from them. They are great at communicating and asking for help when complications arise. As a supervisor, it is always a pleasure to work with them and see the amazing work they are doing to help these kids!
